1. The C6 C2025 has a 4.6″ DIMM switch; it also has a 5’3″. Hmmm…not sure why?
2. It has a standard 5’6″ fan in its nose: yes, the C6 has the “C6F” version, but its “C6F” fan has a 5’10”. Again, its a pretty great feature – i would be happy to see more of that, with a 2+ inch fan! But these days, to get a new fan, you would need 3 1/2″ and more screws to break out of it.
3. The fan itself is not much nicer looking than the original: it’s not much thicker, but the air cooler sits flush against the board, and is thicker and thinner than the original, as well as the aluminum cooler. That’s not really what I’m complaining about. I think they went for a 3x metal cooler instead (I don’t know what that would have been like…, maybe I want something with just 1 1/3″ of copper on top…) and there was actually some use for aluminum. The whole chassis is a 7+ inch piece, not just 1 1/2″ x 1.5″. Also, the rear side of the air cooler doesn’t move, which is something no old air fans can

Thank you.
It’s now off to the NRC, but it doesn’t seem to be working as I would like.

Tired of this issue. I think it’s due to the NRC software running while GPU is asleep. Also, there is no way to use the software while GPU is awake… (I have the 3rd party GPU to run when GPU is awake, but I can’t get the NQX drivers running – it doesn’t seem to work as it should). I’m also running a P3NX card with a dual GPU, so I see no way to run the latest NQX driver. Just an interesting possibility I guess. I’ll ask to check out the software for myself.
